Division II Programs and Faculty

The White Institute has offered continuing professional education since the early 1950s.  In 1990 the Organization Program was established for executives and clinicians engaged in organizational consultation.  This program was followed by the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program in 1996 to qualify professionals in consultation, diagnosis, and treatment services to children, adolescents and families.  The White Institute continues to develop programs to meet the evolving needs of the professional community.  To that end, the one-year Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program was created in 2003 to make available a concentrated, practice-oriented educational experience to clinicians who wish to apply an interpersonal psychoanalytic perspective to the work with patients.  In 2005, the Eating Disorders, Compulsions and Addictions Service Program’s one-year course of study was established to focus on integrating principles of interpersonal psychoanalysis with other treatment modalities.  In addition, the White Institute sponsors numerous programs of shorter duration, including International Outreach Seminars, Psychiatry Residency Rotations, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Intensive Psychotherapy.  The success of these programs is attributable to the pro bono contributions of the dedicated faculty members listed under the following links.
